If your 4th of July is anything like mine, you spend 99.9% of your day in a swimsuit- but still want to find a way to show your patriotic spirit. This year, I’m going to take a cue from the girls of “The Hills” and rock a little red bikini like this one. It will look perfectly festive on the 4th, but still be wearable year round when I hit the beach. So, tell me, what do you plan to wear for your Fourth?

Every season here in the Roxy offices, there seems to be at least one item that every girl unanimously starts obsessing over and one day you look around and everyone is wearing this particular item…because it’s just so good! This summer season, without a doubt, the item that we are all wearing (and carrying in this case!) is the Wild Side Bag. It’s stripes are perfectly on trend and the variety of colors it is offered in suit just about any style. So take it from us, whether you tote it to the beach or use it as your everyday carry-all, Wild Side is one great bag!
I woke up this morning scouring my closet for a long skirt…I think I have the beginnings of a full-fledged obsession. Usually I’m a “the shorter the better” type girl, but there is something so sophisticated and summery about pairing a long skirt with a cute tank and some bangles or hoop earrings. I’m desperately in need of one!
Currently I’m crushing on Star Fish, which is convertible into a tube dress also. I can imagine it looking perfect thrown on over a bikini at the beach. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some shopping to do…

Without a doubt, one of the best accessories for hitting the beach is a cute straw hat. It packs punch with style but also doubles its use by shieldling your face (and tresses) from the sun. Just take it from Jessica Alba, who is rarely seen hitting the sand with one. A great option is the Hot Ticket hat. It comes in 4 fun color variations that are guaranteed to suit any style.
I spent a few minutes with our awesome Roxy swimwear designer, Tori, and she shared some of her summer swimwear inspiration.

New York New York is the city of dreams…but what about LA? We always have an amazing time when it comes to hanging with our favorite NYC bloggers, but we wanted to make sure our LA bloggers and online editors felt the love too! We hosted a little cocktail hour, showed off our Summer 2010 collection, and had the cameras rolling. We asked the bloggers to style their fave outfits using the ROXY Summer line. The girls styled outfits to perfection and impressed us all. Video to come.
Today I checked in with a few girls from our surf team who were in town and asked them about their ”summer style secrets.” They did not disappoint! Bree is a fan of “off-the-shoulder shirts,” while Jen always carries a little “salt in her hair” to look stylish. And Amy? She swears by a “hot pair of earrings.” My advice: try all 3 at once!
