Cori (33,California USA) defeated fellow finalist Kaitlin Maguire (22, California USA) in a 100% American heat. A huge Congrats to Cori Schumacher, making us proud!

The ASP World Championship is sure to bring the excitement as the best in the world will be surfing the waves of Côte des Basques (Basque Coast). Fresh off throwing out the first pitch at San Diego Padres game Monday night, Jen Smith will be back to defend her title as the ASP Longboard World Champion. If Jen wins, this would be her third title.
Today I checked in with a few girls from our surf team who were in town and asked them about their ”summer style secrets.” They did not disappoint! Bree is a fan of “off-the-shoulder shirts,” while Jen always carries a little “salt in her hair” to look stylish. And Amy? She swears by a “hot pair of earrings.” My advice: try all 3 at once!
