Ever wondered what a printer looked like? Take a look below! We designed the catalog at Roxy headquarters, in Huntington Beach, and then sent the files back to our printer in Wisconsin. At the printer they perfect the color and get official proofs. Starting next week the catalog will be delivered to your doorstep!
Yes! Another ezine from the RRR crew just for Earth Day. Download it and enjoy. It’s free and supercool:
Happy 40th Earth Day! To celebrate this special occasion we’d like to share with you this ezine from the RRR crew. Once again we’ve pooled together work that has been repurposed, reinvestigated and re-worked for your enjoyment. Our list of artists is growing and we welcome more people to join us. After getting to know our project, please feel free to spread the word to your friends & family and don’t hesitate to contact us. A printed version of this ezine will be due in mid summer and will contain more work from our artists; working individually and in groups. Thank you for your support, enjoy.
Happy Earth Day! In celebration of our beautiful planet check out these great earth-friendly crafts from Martha Stewart. She uses old, outgrown, or disposable materials to make organizers, keepsakes, and gifts. Genius.
One of my favorites is this T-shirt bag. Turning an old t-shirt into a reusable shopping or grocery bag is a simple and clever craft to help everyone be “green.” Click here for directions on how to make your own!

Check out this fun, April Fool’s Day prank! You can go to this website and customize the page to say your friend’s name in a funny pop-culture gossip article. I made this “American Idol” headline for Roxy. Click on the link and try it out for yourself…maybe even post it on your friend’s facebook wall.
The Roxy Style Squad and Amber Stackhouse traveled to the 2010 Roxy Chicken Jam and reported on snowboarding fashion at Mammoth Mountain, CA. Lots of bright colors, street fashion, and plaid are all favorites for 2010 on the slopes.
If you wanted to give your legs a little rest from being up at the mountains all day, we’d say the Sponsor Village was a good way to go.
Sponsors set up tents filled with all kinds of fun surprises. Cover Girl provided make-overs, Paul Mitchell let you test their favorite products, and our friends at DC had a green screen photo-booth. Other sponsors included Rockstar, High Cascade, Zumies, FuelTV, Lib Tech/GNU, DC, Quiksilver. Each of our sponsors provided games and prizes, raffles, and our favorite freebies! We had our own booth where we demo’d new ROXY boards including boards with the new C2BTX technology.
Evan, our graphic designer, has spent the last couple of days back in Milwaukee supervising the printing of our Summer 2010 catalog! Hello Summer!
At the printing press they work around the clock to make sure the best possible prints are made.
Evan carefully inspects each page to make sure they’re per-fect!
Driving through the downtown streets getting to see all the people from the RV point of view is pretty awesome. I went down to the Quiksilver Store on Granville street where Christina Culver was giving Roxy Cheer Manicures. If you’re in Vancouver, stop by the Quiksilver store (820 Granville Street) from now until February 20th for your free Roxy Cheer Manicure.
Yeti’s roaming around outside the Quiksilver Store on Granville Street.
Roxy Cheer Manicures by nail artist Christina Culver!
Norway Nails. This subtle show of support is on my level.
Even Gracie the Pug got in on the Manicure action.
