Roxy Pro Surfer Kassia Meador is already known for her skills in the ocean. More and more, she is also getting to be known for her talent as an artist and photographer. So she is taking her skills as an artist to Fashion’s Night Out 2010. This is another installment of Fashion’s biggest party which celebrates and supports the retail and fashion industry.

Wanna get up close and personal with Gold Medalist Torah Bright? Who doesn’t? Now you can – well, sort of. Faux (a cardboard cut-out version of) Torah Bright will be popping up soon in a store near you.
Take a picture with the in-store life-size Torah Bright for a chance to win a C2 BTX Roxy Snowboard signed by Torah and a 2011 Roxy pair of pants and jacket. Between September 20th and December 31st, 2010 stop by a participating snow retail location and take a creative picture with the life-size Torah. I repeat, be creative!
After you snapped your pic, email your first, last name, home address and name of the store where you took your picture to torah@roxy.com. Torah will be selecting her favorite!

Another Roxy Style Spy installment! This time Style Spy takes you behind the scenes of the Fall 2010 Roxy photo shoot. The girls looked fresh, natural, and fun. Find out what hair stylist Corie Bardo and make-up artist Yumi have to say about the look they gave the models.
Roxy team riders Alison Bowman (VA) Amy Murphree (FL/CA) and Bree Kleintop (VA) surfed their way to the top over this weekend’s 48th annual East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) held in the beautiful ‘Lovers’ state of Virginia. The ECSC is the oldest continuously running surfing contest in North America, and was loaded with high profile East and West coast surfers. Taking home the gold in Girls Division was our own Alison Bowman, also placing 4th in her Jr. women final. Captivated spectators cheered on Virginia Beach local, Bree Kleintop, as she powered through her Junior women final placing 4th over all! And another 1st place Roxy girl finish went to Amy Murphree in the Women’s Long Board Division, also placing 5th over all in the Women’s pro event! Congratulations girls and good luck in all your upcoming events!
Thank you to everyone that worked so hard on this Design A Bikini contest! We were so thrilled to see all these different entries. You guys are all very talented, and the team here at Roxy is very impressed with all the entries. The judges will be having a hard time picking the winners, but we they definitely know what they’re doing, so we trust them. Let’s hear it for the finalists! Congrats!
Roxy’s Own Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) ,19 , has once again secured a solid result as she continues her highly consistent year on tour. Spectators cheered her on as she charged through heat after heat collecting high scores and 1st’s all the way up to the Final. Unfortunately the Final was held in less then desirable conditions and Sally took her only 2nd place of the comp in the her last heat of the week- the one on one final with US open winner Carissa Moore (HI) , 17. “It was a really tough Final and there wasn’t much opportunity to open up,” Fitzgibbons said. “I had a really good time here at the US Open and second place is awesome so I’ll just take it and move on to the next event.” Sally is ultra fired up for her next event and as ready and focused as an athlete can be. We are so very proud to announce Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS), Laura Enever (AUS) and Sarah Baum (ZAF) have all made it onto the quarter finals in today’s event! Results from today’s round 4 of the Huntington Beach US OPEN:
Sally took 1st in Heat #3 of Round 4
Laura took 1st in Heat #2 of Round 4
Sara took 2nd in Heat #4 of Round 4
Sally emerges as she is the one to beat for the $50,000 prize purse (richest purse in women’s surfing), but as you can see all the girls were once again absolutely on fire! Be sure to cagch these girls in their quarter finals on Friday August 6th at 11:20am either online or come down to support the team in Huntington Beach! Go Roxy!
