Roxy ATHLETIX Tour – Chilling at Texas Tech

We had so so much fun hanging out with the students at Texas Tech our first day of the Roxy Athletix Tour.  Very active school – lots of y’all were lining up for our FREE yoga/pilates/x-training classes.  (We have an amazing trainer/yogi with us, I’m not surprised).

Roxy ATHLETIX Roadtripping: The Southwest

We’ve been venturing across desert, plains, and curving hills to bring Roxy ATHLETIX to universities in Texas & beyond.  Lots of cacti, tumbleweed, and adventures the past few days. We’ve been through Flagstaff – Arizona, Albuquerque – New Mexico, and Amarillo – Texas.  Lots of loud music and (sitting/seat-belted) dance parties in the Roxy bus to pass the time on the road.

Made it safely to Lubbock, Texas.  Already getting ready for our Roxy smoothies at Texas Tech.  Get this – we need to buy 300 bananas PER event day!  The grocery stores are always mystified by our large banana order…”for our monkeys” we say :-p

Look – the Roxy bus is in the middle of nowhere! Maybe the rattlesnakes would like some Roxy Athletix yoga pants.

A HUGE WIND STORM attacked us (suddenly) in the middle of the plains. Terrifying, but we survived to see a full rainbow ooo.

We stumbled upon the Road Kill Cafe off of Route 66 in New Mexico (with items like "Almost Crossed the Road Chicken" aww poor lil chicken guy). Danielle and I are starting to feel the cowgirl vibes already.

Roxy Athletix Workout Series: Glutes

Keep it right and keep it tight old school style…Video 3 will show you the proper technique to execute a great glute workout. We will establish stability and balance in our core and upper body to achieve muscle focus on our glutes. Let’s move and motivate ourselves to follow the video for at least 2 rounds. The good news, Roxy has created the ready set sports bra and hot competition shorts to fit light, non-constricting and with just the right absorption factor.

The Roxy ATHLETIX Tour…in Vegas, baby!

The Roxy Athletix Tour made its first stop, ladies and gentlemen…in VEGAS.  We were at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas last week.  And it was awesome.  We had tons of fun hanging out with students at UNLV under the desert sun.  Free yoga, pilates and cross-training classes with our trainers (with free Roxy Athletix bras woo!).   Free delicious Roxy smoothies.  And a fun blow-up obstacle course to run through for sweet Roxy and Quiksilver prizes.  Also perfect timing because we shared the field with an Oozeball tournment: mud volleyball : ) Needless to say, we had lots of muddy visitors at our Roxy tents at this stop. 

 
What’s next?  Road tripping to Texas!  Here we come Texas Tech.  Watch out for our pink/sunset colored Roxy bus on the road…

ROXY ATHLETIX IS COMING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA!

Calling all Canadians! Roxy Athletix is coming to the University of British Columbia September 15th, 16th and 17th, 2009 during the UBC REC Shopping Week. We will be putting on three fitness classes per day over the course of the three days. Classes include pilates, boot camp and a variety of yoga classes. All classes are complimentary and sign up can be done at the UBC Student Recreation Centre from desk located on the Point Grey UBC Campus.

All class participants will be entered to win a prize pack from Roxy Athletix and Clean Start. We will also be on site over the 3 days with Clean Start team set up outside the entrance of the UBC Student Recreation Centre. You can come and check out the the new Athletix collection from us; receive a free skin analysis and get in on trying new products from Clean Start, the new skin care line by Dermalogica.

Athletix Workout Series: Arms and Full Body Sculpt

I bring you workout number 2! This one will tone your full body and your arms. Ladies, this one is going to make you sweat, it is hard, but worth the work! The main muscle focus being your triceps and abdominals, ensuring a full body workout through stability and balance. I encourage you to repeat this video three times in a row and you should be able to complete this in under ten minutes (no breaks :-) ) Do this workout routine three times per week and your body will shape into a beautiful form. I recommend the ROXY “Away Game” sports bra and “hot Competition” shorts…sweat threads create great lines! Have fun!   – Shellie

50 minutes of a mixed level yoga class from beginner to intermediate. The sequences will be specially designed to build strength, increase flexibility and connect breath, body and mind. Students will leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed!
