Listen up girls – its the return of the Roxy Ride Day to Mont Avila, Quebec on Saturday, March 20th.

It is a chance to spend a day on snow, learn tricks in a fun environment, and meet new friends.

Roxy team riders, Joanie Robichard and Megan Whiteside, will be on hand to hang out with participants, give away prizes and demo the latest snowboards from Roxy. Everyone will receive a gift bag full of prizes from Roxy, Empire and Clean Start just for showing up. The day will end with a fun Best Trick Jam with $250 cash up for grabs!

Girls can pre-register online or in person at any Empire location. Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and transportation to and from Empire Montreal. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.

Bus will depart from Empire Montreal at 8AM.

One of the cutest joys of our office lately is Lewis - our little office Mascot at the Vancouver office.

He has been in and out of the office for the last couple of months and how can you not think he is the most adorable little creature. Lewis is a pekingese x chihuahua and probably the most unique doggie I have seen of his type. I was searching on Google to see if there were other dogs that resembled him – but nothing! He is one of kind. He’ll make you smile every time you see him.

This fall we visited the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC with the Roxy Athletix Tour to sweat it out with students at UBC REC. We offered free classes to who ever signed up. The classes were packed and 3 lucky sweating ladies won sports bras, yoga mats and tees shirts. Now that’s a class I wish I could of worked out in. Our friends from Clean Start we also there hanging out and giving students free samples to try out. Kelly and Shawna from Roxy in Canada were also at UBC for the event to showcase our new workout line. Stay tuned because we have a winner of our “Tell Us Why Sweat Is Sweet” contest from UBC.  She will be receiving a new outfit, yoga mat and gym bag. We will be announcing the winner shortly!

Calling all Canadians! Roxy Athletix is coming to the University of British Columbia September 15th, 16th and 17th, 2009 during the UBC REC Shopping Week. We will be putting on three fitness classes per day over the course of the three days. Classes include pilates, boot camp and a variety of yoga classes. All classes are complimentary and sign up can be done at the UBC Student Recreation Centre from desk located on the Point Grey UBC Campus.

All class participants will be entered to win a prize pack from Roxy Athletix and Clean Start. We will also be on site over the 3 days with Clean Start team set up outside the entrance of the UBC Student Recreation Centre. You can come and check out the the new Athletix collection from us; receive a free skin analysis and get in on trying new products from Clean Start, the new skin care line by Dermalogica.

After a long road road trip in her 89' Jeep Cherokee, Robin
decided it was time for a new car. Not that she don't like the vintage look or
have chronic back pain from lack of lumbar support, the old girl has just had
her time and is ready to be sleeping in a garage somewhere.

Through the
grapevine came Hypercube.ca where 5,000 Canadians were applying to win one of
50 Nissan Hypercubes. Nissan hand selected 500 of who they thought were the
coolest Canadians to go on to create a bio by canvas and Robin was one of the lucky
ones.

Her canvas ended up being a combination of the many things that she has her
fingers into and it really says a lot about Robin's crazy exciting life.

The ROXY Chickadee Jam went down last weekend at Grouse Mountain,
with over 55 girls competing for $5000 in cash and prizes. Riders from all over
the Canada competed, giving the crowds a taste of the progressive riding
happening in women’s snowboarding in Canada. The course and conditions were
perfect with soft landings, sunny skies and great music pumping all day. With
her stylish 540’s and 360’s over the tables, Terri Dreger
took top honors including $1000 cash and an all expenses paid trip to the ROXY Chicken Jam March 27 – 29
in Mammoth, CA where she will be competing in the qualifying rounds of the
slopestyle contest. Sarah Niblock sealed the deal in the AM category taking
home a ton of new product.

Marie-Andre Racine and Breanna Strangeland place 2^nd
and 3^rd respectively in the PRO category. Their riding was so
impressive that Marie-Andre also took home Best Trick for her 720 off
the last jump and Breanna earned the hearts of the other competitors with Riders
Choice.

The event would not have been complete without an
appearance from our fuzzy mascot friends Chickadee and Canadian Moose – giving
the girls a run for their money with huge stylish airs and tweaked out
boardslides on the huge flat down rail. There was also an appearance by Roxy
pro snowboarder Robin Van Gyn as the official MC of the event. Celebrity judge Roberta Rodger, Athlete Marketing and Management Director for Infamous Management, was also on hand all day to hang out and score competitors runs.

The all-girl’s snow camps are back starting this weekend at Whistler Blackcomb. The best way to improve your riding skills for sure!

Its a 2-day camp that focus’ on pipe, park and freeriding. Coaching is from some of the best coaches so make sure you sign up for this camp if you are in WHISTLER!
