The Roxy Athletix Tour chilled out with USC & UCLA students last week.  It rocked.  We only have love for these two arch rivals in LA.  Especially for those Trojans & Bruins that love to work-out in the sunshine as much as we dooo SWEAT IS SWEET.

We’ve been drinking soo much Gatorade on this tour!!! Especially perfect to drink after our yoga, pilates, and x-training classes in the sunshine.

Yakult has also been yummy to drink during this tour! A probiotic drink – very sweet and healthy. Comes in these cute, miniature bottles. Also one of our main ingredients in our Roxy smoothies…I’ll post our smoothie recipe at the end of the tour so that you can make it at home.

Hey guys!  The Roxy Athletix tour was in Isla Vista last week and it ROCKED.  It rained during one of our event days – but luckily the next event day was beautiful!  I was happy to leave my rain boots behind and frolick about in the sunshine.

This week we’re in Los Angeles!  Can’t wait to hangout at USC and UCLA – hope to see you there…

Luckily, the next day was sunny and beautiful in Isla Vista! It’s peaceful to do yoga among palm trees…our yogi, Kori, helps us find peace while stretching and strengthening our muscles.

And our trainer, Shellie, wips us all into shape by kicking our butts with insane pilates and x-crossing workout routines! We love our Roxy trainers.

Us Roxy girls had fun hanging out at the University of Houston!  Now time to drive back home to Cali for the Athletix Tour stop at UC – Santa Barbara.  Torrie and I are on the road the next few days…

We had lots of adventures in Texas but now it’s time for us to head back west. Check out this sunset by this Austin bridge – so pretty. I snapped this shot when we were watching the bats fly from underneath the bridge. Lots of wild life in these parts – we also stumbled upon swan, turtles, and a big snake (yikes!) by this bridge.

After soaking up Texas Tech, we packed up our Roxy bus and…headed for Austin, Texas.  Cedar and I bought our first cowgirl boots, danced with cowboys, and ate real Texas barbeque.   We splashed around in Barton Springs and Hamilton pool with our friends – and checked out the night scene on 6th street.  We certainly didn’t mind playing in Austin over the weekend!  A big thank you to the Austinonians that helped make this weekend’s adventures happen.

Next stop…University of Houston : )

The Athletix mannequins take another shower after a sweaty event at Texas Tech. (Aka. Supplies are shoved in every nook & cranny of the Roxy bus. We only have room to pack the mannequins in the shower! Luckily, they love to stay clean).

We’ve driven through many cute lil Texas towns on our drive through Texas – lots of old saloons to see…

We had so so much fun hanging out with the students at Texas Tech our first day of the Roxy Athletix Tour.  Very active school – lots of y’all were lining up for our FREE yoga/pilates/x-training classes.  (We have an amazing trainer/yogi with us, I’m not surprised).

Can’t wait to meet more of y’all tomorrow!

At the Texas Tech Athletix College Tour stop we had FREE ROXY SMOOTHIES!

Two flavors: Sweet Somersaulting Strawberry and Push-Up Peanut Butter Cup. Sponsored by Yakult – a delicious probiotic drink. Very yummy

We’ve been venturing across desert, plains, and curving hills to bring Roxy ATHLETIX to universities in Texas & beyond.  Lots of cacti, tumbleweed, and adventures the past few days. We’ve been through Flagstaff – Arizona, Albuquerque – New Mexico, and Amarillo – Texas.  Lots of loud music and (sitting/seat-belted) dance parties in the Roxy bus to pass the time on the road.

Made it safely to Lubbock, Texas.  Already getting ready for our Roxy smoothies at Texas Tech.  Get this – we need to buy 300 bananas PER event day!  The grocery stores are always mystified by our large banana order…”for our monkeys” we say :-p

Look – the Roxy bus is in the middle of nowhere! Maybe the rattlesnakes would like some Roxy Athletix yoga pants.

Danielle and I are almost professional truckers by now : ) We love to see all the pretty scenery/eat trail mix along the way.

A HUGE WIND STORM attacked us (suddenly) in the middle of the plains. Terrifying, but we survived to see a full rainbow ooo.

We stumbled upon the Road Kill Cafe off of Route 66 in New Mexico (with items like "Almost Crossed the Road Chicken" aww poor lil chicken guy). Danielle and I are starting to feel the cowgirl vibes already.

The Roxy Athletix Tour made its first stop, ladies and gentlemen…in VEGAS.  We were at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas last week.  And it was awesome.  We had tons of fun hanging out with students at UNLV under the desert sun.  Free yoga, pilates and cross-training classes with our trainers (with free Roxy Athletix bras woo!).   Free delicious Roxy smoothies.  And a fun blow-up obstacle course to run through for sweet Roxy and Quiksilver prizes.  Also perfect timing because we shared the field with an Oozeball tournment: mud volleyball : ) Needless to say, we had lots of muddy visitors at our Roxy tents at this stop. 

 
What’s next?  Road tripping to Texas!  Here we come Texas Tech.  Watch out for our pink/sunset colored Roxy bus on the road…

Sweat is Sweet! Shellie show the boys and girls how to work it! It was a hot one. We drank lots of Gatorade that day.

Roxy bikini models Stephanie, Leah and Hannah were spotted looking toned and fit at the Cavallari Estate in head to toe Roxy.  Riviera Magazine, Smartwater, and Roxy teamed up to celebrate the signature Jennifer Anniston Smartwater bottle…proceeds of which benefit Action For Healthy Kids, a non-profit that gets kids moving, eating well, staying hydrated and educated on what it takes to live healthy lives.

Roxy’s Venice Beach premiere of Tiffany Campbell and Andria Lessler’s Dear and Yonder surf movie drew lines around the block. With some fun attendees such as Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Rick Rubin (arguably the most legendary and influential music producer ever) and Eric Balfour (actor from Six Feet Under, the O.C., 24, and more) the crowd was mesmerized by the movie and great music by WEAVE! and DJ Ana Calderon. Roxy surfers Sally Fitzgibbons, Kassia Meador and Amy Murphree were in attendance with longboarder Kassia Meador displaying a number of her own original photographs in the art show.
