One of the best ways to start the day according to Roxy Outdoor Fitness ambassador Emma Duty is by getting out in nature and being active. Here Emma gives us a glimpse into her morning beach yoga routine. Simply slip on your Cross Back Seamless Sports Bra, Standard Running Tights, grab your yoga mat and you are ready to hit the beach! Take a few moments to center yourself by sitting in the Lotus Position and practicing conscious breathing while listening to the waves.
The perfect start to beach yoga is Salutation To The Sun.
After this the variety of yoga poses are endless, some well known poses include Warrior Pose, Plank, Tree Pose, or Cobra.
To add a new level of difficulty to your work out you can even try a headstand in the sand.
A nice calming way to end your session is by doing Savasan also known as Corpse Pose just lie on your back on your mat and relax
This is an ideal way to start your day focused, connected and in a calm state. Last but not least don’t forget to enjoy the view or even go for a dip in the ocean!
