Roxy Ipod touch Availble at Apple Stores

We bring music with us everywhere: to the beach, on our bike, in the car…you name it; it’s with us at all times. It’s the pep in our step and that’s why we can’t get enough, which is more reason why we want to scream loud and proud, how much we love the covers that keep our music safe, and extremely stylish!

Introducing two brand NEW Ipod touch cases currently available at an Apple store near you…Remember to Play It Loud!

Footloose and Fancy Free

A Roxy girl can never have too many sandals. After all, they tend to get thrown around, danced in, splashed on, mangled and tangled. Simply put: They are loved. And there are always plentiful Roxy styles to choose from: Quintessential flip flops and worldly flats, sassy espadrilles and casual slip ons, and more.

Sandals will never go out of style, and neither will nail polish. In the past couple years, nail polish has experienced a revival. It seems every color under the rainbow has had a moment, and nail art has challenged us to think outside the bottle. Gel technology like Shellac and Gelish have made long-wear manicures and pedicures possible.

We thought it would be helpful to mashup some of spring’s nail color trends with some of Roxy’s newest sandal stars. For a sophisticated, high fashion look, the Mojito Leather Sandals, with a black leather wraparound style and pops of color, will subtly shine when paired with Zoya’s perfectly nude Farah—the official color of Marc Jacobs’ Fall runway. The Lido Jute Shoes are soft and flexible and when worn with a pop of mint green, such as Scotch’s Leprechaun Lynch, your feet will look, and feel, refreshed. Glitter polish is fail-safe; it’s fun and fabulous, disguises chips and has long wearability. Deborah Lippman’s famed Happy Birthday multicolor glitter polish creates instant twinkle toes when worn with the polka dot Poolside Sandals. The funky pairing of the turquoise woven Pisco Leather Sandals with a deep, cool violet, Essie’s No More Film, is unexpected.

Spring has sprung, sandal season is in session.

Frequencies: Early Echo with Team Rider Kassia Meador

Surfer Kassia Meador Rides Nature’s Rhythms in Bruce Muller’s Short Film

Harmony is lost within Chaos.

Frequencies: Early Echo on

Longboard icon and Roxy team rider Kassia Meador floats serenely across the majestic waves in surfer and filmmaker Bruce Muller’s Echo. The visual meditation is the first of four shorts teasing the release this fall of Frequencies, an experimental documentary and visual essay by Muller shot at prime surfing destinations across Southern California. Starring Meador and with an original score from Los Angeles-based psyche-pop trio E.S.P, Frequencies aims to explore how man can find synergy with nature’s cycles. “Their are so many different frequencies all around us at all times: ocean waves, sound waves, light waves, infrared and many others outside our range, but all have an effect on us,” explains professional surfer and passionate photographer Meador. “There are many parallels we can connect between surfing and navigating life.” Having previously made the music video for Warpaint’s single “Elephant”, Florida-native Muller combined his love of surfing and the fantastical films of Ridley Scott, Andrei Tarkovsky and Akira Kurosawa in the upcoming feature. “We exist in a world that is vast and dynamic,” he says. “We’re using surfing as a medium to explore how we harness these energies and the effects they have on us.”

Download of the Week: Pyschic Babble “Five Fold Kiss”

Though he plays guitar in Philadelphia rock outfit Circa Survive, Colin Frangicetto clearly possesses a softer side. The music he creates on his own – recorded and released under the name Psychic Babble – is built around his reserved vocals and reflective songwriting, and we think it’s the ideal soundtrack to the few remaining cold nights of winter ahead. Visit Psychic Babble’s Facebook page to order the new album, My Brother’s Ears / My Sister’s Eyes, as well as for a free download of an earlier EP, My Own Stupid Mouth.
