After a hellish six-week U.S. tour that featured a dysfunctional school bus and left frontman Josh Berwanger (formerly of The Anniversary) thousands of dollars in the hole, The Only Children had to cut their losses and break up the band. It wouldn’t last long, though, and soon, Berwanger rallied back to the studio to record the group’s sophomore album, Keeper of Youth. Influenced by ’50s rockabilly and ’70s country rock with a little reggae thrown into the mix, the new record swings with high energy and enthusiasm.

A proper label to call home is a welcome respite from five years of putting out their own records and booking their own tours. Meet our friend Ms. Superpark.  She only comes around once a year, and we’re never really sure where she’s going to pop up, but she’s not to be missed.  Snowboard girls travel the distance to hang with the Ms.’s, partly because she attracts the snowboard paparazzi, is a snob for well built jumps, and promotes good snowboarding, but mostly because she’s just so much fun.  So if you’ve never been properly introduced, just check this video.  Roxy.com/snow

Staged at Cocoa Beach Pier and Shepard Park, the three-day surfing contest will include events for Men, Women, Boys and Girls, from ages six to sixty!
