Each year the Mascot Superpipe Competition at the Roxy Chicken Jam is one of my favorite events…I mean, what could be more entertaining than watching a giant man in a hot dog suit snowboarding down a superpipe? Not much!

This year the Mascot Superpipe Competition is back! It’s on Saturday, March 27th and open competitors of all ages and levels. It’s only open to the first 50 competitors so if you wanna compete you best register early.

CALLING ALL MASCOTS! Come decked out in full mascot costume and compete against the Roxy Chicken and Woolly from Mammoth Mountain in the MASCOT SUPERPIPE COMPETITION

- $6k Prize Purse! $3k for 1^st, $2k for 2^nd, $1k for 3^rd

-   Register on the 3^rd floor of the Main Lodge starting Wednesday, March 24^th from 8am-3pm.  Registration will continue on Thursday and Friday and close on Saturday at 10am.

-  You MUST show your complete costume upon registration

-  Costumes can be anything creative, but must be a full head to toe costume

-  You will be judged just like a normal pipe competition, with added points for the difficulty of your costume.  For example, you will get more points if you pull a trick with a huge mascot head on than if you pull the same trick without anything on your head.

-  Registration is open to the first 50 competitors, no exceptions

-  Competitors of all ages and levels are encouraged to enter.  Each competitor will receive two runs (no practice runs) and the best overall run will be scored.  There are pro riders in the competition and it is a 22’ pipe.  Everyone will be judged the same regardless of age or level.
