Interview with Roxy Model Ashley Perich |
It’s hard to be a Roxy fan and miss this beautiful face. You’ve seen her all over the place, from our Tahiti photoshoot to product shots on roxy.com and videos about our Roxy/JBL headphones – Ashley Perich is a total Roxy Girl. This week she was in our Roxy studio modeling for the fall 2011 for the photoshoot.
Behind the scenes in the Roxy studio, Ashley is pondering which outfit to try on next…there are tons of clothes, accessories, and shoes to choose from.
Mia: How did you get into modeling?
Ashley: I found 
my agency by googling it! I’ve been modeling for two years now and moved to Miami from Pennsylvania to pursue it.
Mia: Where was the best place that you’ve gone to on a shoot?
Ashley: Tahiti! It was amazing. We were there for an entire week. It was just long enough and so beautiful.
Mia: What does it mean to you to be a Roxy Girl?
Ashley: Being yourself, having fun, running around, and being free!
Mia: What are your top styles for fall?
Ashley:
1) Motoboots!
2) Ballet flats
3) Tights
4) Dresses with colorful bandeaus
5) Boyfriend khakis
6) Loose crop tops
7) Cropped flannel jackets
Sweet…we’ve got a lot to look forward to.

hey fancy lady! i LOVE LOVE LOVE Roxy. half of the cothing i own is Roxy! i was wondering what websit you looked under to become the model you are today! your soo darn lucky! everyone tells me i could be a model but i havent really considered it. but i would really love to look into it and give it a shot! haller back when ya can darlin.

hey there ashley:) you are the best roxy model ever! you are very pretty and have awesome freckles;) it would be awesome to be a roxy model. i model for my moms photography but not professionally. i couldnt imagine getting to be on the beach all day in cool clothes modeling. awesome!! so anyway youre really cool.

WOW. OMG, so this sounds super-stalkerish, but like, every ad that I find you (Ashley) in, is now hanging on my wall. You really inspire me. Being a zero knower about madeling, I still think you are super-talented. Thanks to you, half of my closet is Roxy ( thats a good thing!) Anyway, thanks for inspiring girls all over to be them selves, have fun, and be free (:

Hey. Ashley’s one of my favorite models. Soo cute/ pretty. Seems like so much fun to model for Roxys new collection (which is amazing) haha. I really want to be a model for roxy or be on the roxy surf team. That’s like my dream job:) any way I could apply? My friend from Austrailia said they’re trying to find a new face for roxy or something..? It sucks because she said you have to be from ages 16-21 an I’m only 14. Well I don’t know, hopefully in a few years. And yeah ashleys gorgeous:)

My dream is to model. I know someone who works for roxy. I just dont have time to drive up to l.a and move. Im almost 13. I live in Pacific Beach,Ca.
I will send pictures in if possible. I wear roxy all the time. Id love to do local beach/swim wear shots. Thanks.

TO ROXY,
I have been wearing your clothing since I was a little girl..Everyone would make fun of me because I would wear it every single day. I am a HUGE fan. & a huge surfer girl that’s lived in HB my whole life. My DREAM is to be a model and have my pictures shown outside HSS on main st. I have total confidence in myself.
