How to Help the Earthquake Relief Efforts in Indonesia |
Our hearts go out to right now to those in Indonesia who have been effected by Wednesday’s powerful earthquake.
Padang, West Sumatra’s capital, was the region most severely hit by the earthquake. Rescue teams are still searching for thousands of missing survivors. Foreign governments and aid groups have airlifted in medicine, food and emergency workers. The UN has estimated that more than 1,100 people have died.
If you’re looking for a way to help those effected by the earthquake, check out SURFAID’s Padang Earthquake Relief Effort. You can also make a donation to UNICEF or World Vision.
