ACID GIRLS, comprised of Gregory Bowler and Jamie McNiel, are a DJ and production duo based in Los Angeles, CA. Acid Girls have carved their own niche in the international dance music scene, combining pop and techno, disco and electro. Their unique mix of influences ranging anywhere from the timeless disco of Arthur Russell and the ageless synth pop of Brian Eno, to the eclectic innovations of Aphex Twin and dancefloor classics of Basement Jaxx and beyond. Their productions and DJ sets guarantee a fun, sweaty night out.  Currently signed to IHEARTCOMIX, Acid Girls have become a prevalent name in the remix world. Previous works include remixes for HEALTH, Appaloosa, Mini Viva, Sisters of Transistors and IHC labelmates Heartsrevolution. Acid Girls have maintained a dedicated following within the blogosphere, and have received praise from many well followed online music blogs such as Big Stereo, Discodust, Palms Out Sounds, Missingtoof, and Discobelle. Recently, they were selected by Urb Magazine as one of the Next 100, while Anthem Magazine selected them as one of fifty artists to watch. Additionally, the prestigious New Yorker wrote that they are among the few artists and DJ’s breathing new and exciting life into dance music.  The Numbers Song / Lightworks is the latest release from Acid Girls, and promises to be one of their strongest to date. With remixes by Jokers of the Scene and Dave P & Adam Sparkles. In addition to the release on IHEARTCOMIX, Acid Girls recently were released on a split EP with Classixx on Kitsuné.
