Athletix is Marathon Worthy and Approved
A couple of my co-workers, Becca and Jade, ran in the Orange County Marathon in early May. For five months leading up to the race they trained religiously – going on early morning runs before work, short runs during lunch, and long runs on the weekends.
When they learned that Roxy was making a line of workout clothes, Athletix, they were so stoked – the OC Marathon would be the perfect test to see if these performance designed workout clothes came through in the real world.
For the race they tested out the Record Breaking Workout Pants and loved them – they are totally marathon worthy.
all my long runs and days of training and getting chaffing from shorts on
those 20 milers, these pants have proved to the the best! I ran an
entire marathon in them with no chaffing and was sooo
comfortable. They are awesome!" said Becca, pictured left.
These pictures were snapped while they were on the 26.2 mile course…you can see the reflective tape on the bottom on the pants. This was great feature because when the race started in the morning it was still pretty dark out. The tape made them visible to on coming traffic.
The pants were still holding up strong for Becca and Jade mid-morning. The day had heated up but the moisture wicking, anti-microbial, UV protected fabric kept them cool and comfortable through the entire race.
