Check out this beautiful board in our art director’s office. It will soon be on its way to Tahiti where Roxy models and team riders will ride it  during the next photo shoot.

Shaped by Donald Takayama, (who also shapes all of Kassia’s boards) and hand painted by artist Greg Lamarche this board is truly one of a kind, an original piece of art. According to Roxy’s art director, they want to use relevant art on products that will actually be used in the photo shoot.

Greg Lamarche is one of Roxy’s studio artist. This New Yorker is a renown graffiti artist and uses collage and mixed media to create his works of art. For Roxy, Lamarche creates graphics and designs which are then incorporated into Roxy products and marketing materials. You can find some of Lamarches other designs on hang tags and Roxy wraps. Be on the lookout for the board in the next years photos from Tahiti.
