Silversun Pickups at Roxy Headquarters
Yesterday was the best Monday ever…
Silversun Pickups (SSPU) were right here, at Roxy headquarters, in Huntington Beach, CA. I got to catch up with them in Echo Beach, our in-house café, and chatted with lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Aubert. From the first moment I heard the melodic sounds of “Lazy Eye” on the radio I loved SSPU, but I never thought that I would actually get the opportunity to meet them in person. So sweet!
Brian was dressed in a black leather jacket, had clear blue eyes, and shaggy brown hair. He had just finished up a “shopping” trip with the rest of the band in the warehouse where they got hooked up with free gear. We chatted for a bit before his lunch was ready.
They’re all stoked to be playing at this year’s Roxy Chicken Jam at the village in Mammoth Lakes, the last stop on their tour. The week before Chicken Jam, SSPU are going to be in Hawaii, playing at Waikiki Shell, in Honolulu on Friday the 21st and at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, in Kahului, HI on Saturday the 22nd of March. Nothing like coming to the mountains with a tan!
When I asked them if they would be spending some more time in Mammoth, after their concert on March 29th, they said, “Nope, need to get back to LA,”…they got a lot of stuff going on!

I am looking for swimsuits for my 13 year old. I have the sku# etc. but I can’t find anyone carring the swimsuits. Can you help?
